Welcome, fall! This month commemorates the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Reformation when he nailed the 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg. We are forgiven by grace through faith. It was an event that rocked the Christian world. The Reformation was all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. True then; true now. We will celebrate the Reformation on Sunday, October 29, after the second church service by firing up the grill for brats, and members will contribute side dishes and desserts. We welcome you to join us!
You may notice the newsletter is shorter than usual this month; in fact, a lot shorter. Due to time constraints, it is an abbreviated version, but we should return to normal next month.
Meanwhile, enjoy the beautiful colors of God’s creation, and Verbum Domini Manet in Aeternum — The Word of the Lord Endures Forever. It is the motto of the Lutheran Reformation. God’s blessings!
