Yes, it’s that special time of the year when we once again celebrate God’s special gift to us, the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ. How awesome is that?! It’s the true meaning of Christmas.
Along with this busy month of December come special worship services. Each Wednesday, through December 20th, Zion will have an Advent service beginning at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year, so there will be the regular 10:15 a.m. Divine Service, along with a 7 p.m. Christmas Eve service. On Monday, December 25, there will be one Christmas Day service at 10:15 a.m. Please join us!
On December 2nd, Christkindlmarket will return to Zion, with artists and crafts people selling their creations. All are invited to attend and find those extra-special Christmas gifts. Christkindlmarket will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day.
Zion Circle is once again collecting non-perishable food items through December 17. Then, on December 19th, they will meet to assemble Christmas Care Boxes to be distributed to those in need. Afterward, they will celebrate with a potluck.
LWML, also, will be partying on December 21st at 7 p.m. Lots of fun going on!
The youth will be practicing for the Children’s Christmas Program on Wednesday, December 6 and 13, at 6 p.m. before the Advent Services. On Sunday, December 17, they will present their play.
God’s blessings to all of you as we mark the birth of our Lord and Savior!
